Engage 55 DECT USB Wireless Headsets

The Engage 55 DECT series offers headset models in single ear, stereo and convertible wearing styles; in both USB-A and USB-C connections, as well as compatibility with UC and Microsoft Teams platforms.  They are certified for Zoom on all headset versions and certified for Microsoft Teams on the MS models, as well as other popular platforms.

Wearing Styles

The single ear and stereo models are over-the-head and can be ordered with or without charging stations.  The convertible model can be worn over-the-ear using an earhook, over-the-head with a headband, or behind the neck using a neckband.

Jabra Link 400 Flexible USB Adapter

The biggest difference between the Jabra Engage 55 and the Engage 65 and Engage 75 is the new flexible Link 400 USB adapter that comes with the Engage 55 headsets.  Because it is pliable, it is far easier to move to multiple locations and environments than with the charging station.  The Link 400 adapter comes already pre-paired to the headset, so all you have to do is plug it in to your PC/MAC and you're good to go!

(Note:  The Engage 55 does not work with smartphones)

Enhanced Wireless Range

Engage 55 has a wireless range of up to 490ft/150m while moving away from your laptop while the compact USB DECT adapter keeps your calls secure.

DECT Wireless Security

Engage 55 is DECT Security certified, and goes beyond the DECT Security Step C level with additional FIPS military-grade 256-bit encryption algorithms to absolutely make sure your conversations remain private.

Professional Hearing Protection

SafeToneā„¢ 2.0 prevents sudden loud audio spikes, limits overall audio exposure, and intelligently maintains comfortable audio levels through the day.

Busylight

The built-in busylight alerts others that you are on a call, so you won't be inadvertently interrupted.

Battery Life and In-Call Charging

The mono and stereo headsets have up to 13 hours battery life, so you're unlikely to run out of battery during a call.  The convertible model has a battery life of up to 9 hours.  If you are running low on battery, simply plug in your headset using the included USB cable and keep on talking!

Who Uses this Headset Model?

This is a perfect headset for call centers, financial companies or centers, or any type of company requiring a highly secure wireless solution without  Bluetooth technology.  This headset is also very suitable for hybrid workers needing to work from their home office or corporate office.
